My name is Fatima. I’ve got plans for my future regarding my life after Zayed university. I’m looking forward to completing my MBA degree, and to work in a field that relates to my major afterwards. My goal is to establish an ISC agency. I’m going to talk about my volunteer experiences, my hobbies which are playing basketball and reading.
Volunteering makes me feel satisfied and productive. The work done while participating and volunteering helps me with enhancing my skills and abilities of dealing with situations regarding my academic success. It also contributed to lifting up my self-confidence. My interest of joining social events and other extra-curricular activities helped me decide what I want to major in easier.
Basketball has changed and impacted my life for the better. I currently play for the university’s basketball team. The feeling I get after practicing with my teammates is inexplicable. Basketball taught me how to listen, how to be a leader, and how to be a good teammate. Furthermore, it also taught me that success requires hard work.
Reading is a common hobby that helps with developing one’s mind, and it’s one of my hobbies. There are different categories when it comes to reading ranging from articles to books. Due to my interests, I prefer reading Arabic novels as they contain more drama and details and English poems since they include more emotion.
In conclusion, I’m looking forward to work on my goals for the future regarding my academic/career life. Working on my skills, hobbies and learning ways on how to develop my readings, basketball practices and volunteer work is what I want to accomplish too.
