To start with, the world coalition argues why the death penalty and the need of execution could not be aligned with justice due to the fact of the statement of executions in the USA. As of the unfairness in the application with the use of death penalties in which innocent people could be wrongfully convicted. This drives the need for the world coalition to call the US to join the countries that have abolished the death penalty.

The world coalition indicates that the death penalty focuses on few people in the society without taking into consideration the risk of executing the innocent and how this diminishes a person’s right to life. As well as it triggers acts of inhumanity and cruelty which has no place in a civilized world. Families of murder victims are against that as they believe it would lead to the suffering of other families left behind instead.
